iclone and Character Creator Beginner Class
Warning for parents.
iClone has started allowing porn related content into their marketplace to purchase these props or characters for use in the animation software. So, parents will want to monitor the students if they go into the marketplace. Most of this content is blurred in the icon view. However, it is one click away to see the content. Here is a post I placed on the iClone feedback system requesting they restructure this content away from the general audience. I don’t know if they will review, ignore, or delete the feedback. In addition, characters in many cases are nudes. So, yes the women have their God given breasts. Thus far, they are not posting characters with gentiles. In any case, this work will require some maturity of the student to participate, and that is up to the parent to determine.

iClone Computer System Requirements
- Animators need gaming level computers such as this ASUS (8 GB of video ram).
- We can get started with this basic class using the minimum iClone requirements, but if the student is interested in animation as a career, more machine will be needed.
- I personally use a computer with an i9 processor, 64 GB ram, and an Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti with 24 GB of video ram (which is no longer manufactured).
- New video CARDs with the high memory come with 32 GB of ram and start at $2,300.
- For a balance of cost considerations and capability, I recommend the 8 GB 4060 Ti in the $399 cost range.
