Does being Good get You into Heaven?  By what standard is good MEASURED?

Are all professing Christians going to heaven?   Most people not 100% sure of the answer will respond this way:

• “I do more good than bad and hope God will pardon any of my transgressions based on my good efforts.”  
• Often, will dabble in mysticism and conclude:
  • There are many ways to God.  
  • Sin in the Bible is out of date and society has evolved beyond God’s moral law.
